Dancing lessons for children

Did you know that children feel the rhythm from birth and are able to appreciate and recognize the sounds of music?

Possibly every parent has experienced that when the little one is growing up, he starts jumping around the room to the accompaniment of a song and hums along, performing even quite impressive dance movements.

Dancing helps children develop social skills, self-confidence and provide knowledge that promotes the development of other skills that will be needed later in life.

Dancing not only develops children physically and mentally, but also allows them to enjoy their achievements and skills. We recommend it to all children, but especially to those whose energy flows over the edges.

A speech therapist is a certified medical practitioner who performs the assessment, diagnosis, correction and rehabilitation of communication skills, speech and language, phonation and swallowing disorders in people of any age.

The purpose of counseling is to discuss any uncertainties or issues that have arisen regarding the assessment and parents' ability to work with the child, as well as to agree with parents on the need for further activities, their intensity, and to discuss other issues of interest.

The following key issues will be addressed during the consultation:

  • Time - the most productive time period for organizing lessons and the intensity of lessons for each child (both working with a specialist and at home). The speech therapist agrees with the parents on the schedule of the classes, as well as on the exercises (and the frequency of the exercises) at home.
  • Existing resources / materials at home - the consultation discusses what resources / materials are available and what games could be developed from these resources to develop the child's skills. Even the simplest materials (such as balls, any colored fabric, etc.) can serve as a basis for creating a developing material.
  • Ideas / games - it is discussed together what games the child likes and how to maximize efficiency in the work process. In addition, the speech therapist recommends games and how to work with them.
