The development of basic skills or competences is ensured for children in the pre-primary school of residence. The nature and tasks of the competence approach are:

  • To develop a lifelong learning desire for children – the child develops curiosity and continuous encouragement to explore, study, experiment;
  • Child learns to apply and transfer his or her knowledge – being able to use the information they have learned, understanding new concepts in depth;
  • Communication and language skills – what a child can use when communicating.
  • Thinking and problem-solving skills - teachers manage the training process in a way that promotes active and creative thinking, and the teacher engages children in interesting activities.

Our aim is to interest a child, to create a desire to work, to explore, to study, to conclude. A child's curiosity, gleaming eyes are a motivating factor in preschool work.

As a result, the main changes in preschool are related to the teaching content – which will be taught to the child. The minimum content of pre-school education is based on rolling skills – critical thinking and troubleshooting, creativity, self-directed learning, cooperation, civic participation and other skills.

The learning environment is changing: the setting of rooms is one of the teaching centres using teaching materials that correspond to the topic. The competence approach is the child's free activity and the activities organised by the educator throughout the day, both outside and within the group. The child is more likely to choose – everyone doesn't do one job.

The results of pre-school education are described in seven areas of learning: language, social and civil, cultural awareness and self-expression, science, mathematics, technology, health and physical activity. Very much emphasis is placed on the development of children's social and emotional skills, which includes self-awareness, feelings, thought, behavioral management, the ability to understand others and build positive relationships.

The most important form of teaching organisation in preschool is playing. The child is given the opportunity to learn through immersion are clear results, diverse tasks, time for testing, activity modeling, and also errors. Supportive and evolving feedback, the opportunity to think about your learning and the results achieved are essential.

Parents are provided with information in the pre-school online ELIIS system about the topic of each month and the result to be achieved.
